Global Humanist Initiative – Ghana (GHIG), is a non-profit-making, non-religious, non-political and non-governmental organisation established in Ghana to facilitate the socio-economic development, environmental, cultural and traditional enhancement of the Ghanaian society. GHIG has been in operation with its vision since the year 2000 and have formally acquired its certificate of commencement of business on the 13th October 2003 under the Ghanaian Company Code of 1963 with G.12,273 as its registration number as well as D.S.W/2752 as its charity number. GHIG by far has been successful in its programme delivery due to its involvement of ‘rural community, youth & grass–root approach to human development.
